I am trying to build a library of all the PePiPoo cases that have had happy endings, be it written confirmation or timed out.
Can all users post the link to their (or any other cases they know about) threads so a database can be made up. Once I have a list I will edit this post and update it as and when required. Not that we get them that often, but when the trolls appear on the site and start having a go, it would be nice to point them in the direction of people who have "had a go" and came out unscathed. Cheers. -------------------- Regards,

Hi all,
We received the following e-mail, from someone who would like to remain anonymous, today: “Hi Mika I thought I'd email this for your consideration to place under successes (prefer that you didn't use my name): - Date of offence: 30 Aug 2004 - Location: Bournemouth - Alleged: 60 in a 50 - NIP: 10 Sep (old style: says 'if none of the above cover your situation, then write to us', so I did) - PACE letter 7th Oct - 2nd NIP: 19th Oct - no more correspondence - called the mag court in Poole for the 2nd time today: no papers laid. Pepipoo has been a great help to me. I will donate my fine to Pepipoo. My sincere thanks to you and 'poo. Kind regards,” -------------------- Regards, Mika

I am pleased to say that I had my case dropped by the CPS 2 days before going to court.
After help from Pepipoo, I challenged the legality of the S172 here and walked away unscathed! Cheers folks! |

Magistrates decline prosecution application to ajourn due to lack of officer (again). Upon this decision, the prosecution offered no evidence and the case is dismissed. -------------------- Regards, Insider

Philwalker_WBA. The street lamps on a purported restricted road, without repeaters, were only footway lamps.

YELLOW. Subsection 4. Got to court, but justice was satisfied 'reasonable diligence' had been displayed.

TVP unsigned s.172 response. The case was dropped, so I still have a Belgian licence, but I feel the result was more of a success for the CPS and scammers than it was for me.

PM70; road works temporary limit. The wrong traffic order was cited on the summons. There was also no evidence that the terminal signs were in place at the time.

Divbad s172 charge, deeply dodgy paperwork and missing exhibit.
Claimed £550 costs, waiting to see what I get. Viewable by members only, but it pays to check the paperwork very carefully & talk to cjm99 if you ever get a summons! -------------------- It is probable that, simply, in addition, in my opinion, as accurately as I want to make it, probably, I am an orang utang. But that's not what the eye sees.

Sami1; PACE statement sent. Also the first NIP in the chain appeared to be out of time. Case dropped two days before trial 'due to lack of evidence'.

david2428; a couple of weeks since we've had a success reported, however, it was worth the wait.

a quick tot up makes that 124 cases
plus the big cock-ups such as : Thames St- signs in wrong pace a mega 5500 cases! Dorset faulty C.O.F.P thousands of cases 1991 to 2005 in dorset Norfolk-faulty N.I.P. could affect thousands Folly Bottom. Hundreds will get refunds- although the scamera are squerming a bit. I know PePiPoo can't claim all these cases but the camera partnerships are taking a bit of a hammering lately  -------------------- |
