As for a BB holders the period given is at least 20 minutes.

How do you know that? They aren't contracted obligated to anyway, so I think that's an irrelevance.

Forgive me for talking out of turn but I still think it’s worth writing to the hospital bosses, PALS and your medical professional and why not to Trevor Post too?
The hospital say they are ‘proud to care’ and tell you something about paying on the laminated handmade sign with their logo and header but then when you try to speak to them they’re not interested.
Explain the confusion and that you (or family member / friend) are ill and this rigmarole and the differences between other hospitals is making the condition worse through stress. If the ill person isn’t working and is relying on benefits then they don’t have the funds or time to be dealing with this.
After all you went to hospital to get medical treatment and not to be set upon by a ppc.

Also the parking notice says it is private land. Land owned by the trust? If so surely they can do something about it.

Some may know I can be an awkward b****r and as such I have a history of writing firm and reasonable letters to all manner of organisations and getting compensation or refunds.
All outside of so called procedures that they insist.
Be courteous but firm. And load up the sympathy thing but not too much.
