In response to this thread, and after my g.f. pointed out her details were listed, check yourself on www.b4usearch.com which has electral roll listings from before a certain year, you may want your details removed depending on your job!!
I believe there's a restriction or something that came into force a year or so ago, so it isn't that up to date, but this is free info, it DOES include ex-directory phone numbers as well!! |

it DOES include ex-directory phone numbers as well!! Are you sure about that? I read on another forum that somebody thought they were ex-directory but were listed. I can't think of anywhere else they could have got the info though... Gareth -------------------- Found anything useful? Become a BB&G!

I can't think of anywhere else they could have got the info though... Gareth I was on there twice, once at an address I left 7 years ago. Both were/are xd phone numbers (although they were/are published in a number of places both on-line and in specialised directories/magazines) and were not on that site. -------------------- The accident was caused by cockpit thrombosis - a dangerous clot between seatback and steering wheel ...

Somebody who is ex-directory should ask them where they got the information from, it would have to have been some bulk automated matching system, they definately wouldn't have done anything manually.
The only thing I can think of is some business directories maybe, eg. D&B. Gareth -------------------- Found anything useful? Become a BB&G!

If like me you get peed off with junk mail and nuisance calls, register with the TPS and PPS. Not had a nuisance call in 4 years and only one or 2 junk mails (which I reported and as these services can now take legal action against the perpetrators, they grovelled to me offering copious amounts of apologies)

Today's Daily Express comment. Obviously I must be lucky then. The TPS and PPS both told me they have legal powers to convict persistent offenders
