The TRO will almost inevitably allow it, yes.

Drop off a passenger, yes.
And on double yellow lines.

Not on
Bus stops
Zig Zags
Red Lines
Anywhere else with a no stopping restriction.

Do you have a particular location in mind?

A good question.
The answers you have had are good for public roads
But...

If in a car park, airport, railway station or similar, they may be private roads where normal exemptions do not apply.

Even on a public road, time allowed is what is needed for passengers to alight, get luggage (if any) and that is it, not a second more so no long goodbyes or waiting to see them into wherever they are going.

The good news is that, apart from TFL red routes, you can't be done by CCTV for yellow lines I believe. Is that true, and also true everywhere in the UK?

You can be done by CCTV for stopping in bus stops and school zig-zags.

True, across England.
I thnk same in Scotland and Wales but would need to search out legislation.

Red Routes, Bus stops, bus lanes, school ZZ's and moving traffic in London are all ripe targets for CCTV enforcement.

CCTV cannot be used on yellow lines.
They can stop and if manned by a CEO, they can serve a regular PCN.

But come on, give us a location pls

Is this a wind up?

If you know the street name, then post it up. If not, ask your daughter - she'll know.

The address of the school is a secret? It's only shared with parents via self-destructive message the dat before their child starts?
