I've reported to be moved to Private Parking forum rather than Council Parking Tickets. You should get more help there, but suggest you post any paperwork/tickets or else it's all meaningless.

QUOTE - Shall I ignore it? - No. Yes vote from me as they really are a tinpot operation but I am assuming SRM is hinting that going for the POPLA code via an appeal would close it down so there are not threatening letters. This post has been edited by emanresu: Fri, 12 Jan 2018 - 07:22 |

I have no interest in any ticket issued to me that isn't off Salford City Council. Whilst this mob do not attempt court they do have 6 years to pursue the 'debt'. In the future they might change their minds and enter the roboclaim game. Private parking tickets are potentially enforceable, don't believe the hype to the contrary. Whilst the risk is low here, there's a very good chance you can get is squashed via POPLA with a little effort. At the very least I would collect 'evidence' of the signs/scene. They will reject any appeal you make but that's all part of the process. To be fair it was the only questioned asked/answered. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

Anything else you need to do????
Read, read, read. Understand the process. Start with finding out why we are now going to start SHOUTING at you to EDIT your first post to avoid identifying the driver. Refer only to 'the driver.' YOU will dealing with this as RK. This is crucial. Do it NOW, don't argue. Then go and research other threads on here to find out why. -------------------- Cabbyman 11 PPCs 0
