Hi,

I made the foolish error of riding my bike without L plates. I've just recieved a NIP today for a speed camera flash doing 35 in a 30.

Will I more than likely lose my provisional license? Do they check the camera photo directly?

Thanks.

In theory they could do the necessary checks but in practice the 'sausage machine' will likely simply go through the motions.

A course will likely be offered (unless this is Scotland) to avoid points. Otherwise it's a fixed penalty (3 points £100) for which your provisional licence can receive...

Thanks mate, absolutely bricking it but I feel a bit better after what you said. Never doing either of those things again. Lesson learnt.
