Speeding offence was 37mph in a 30mph zone. Speeding was as a result of passing excessively slow moving vehicle. As there is a compliant system of street lighting, the road in question is a restricted road subject to the default 30 mph limit. Indeed, it would be illegal to have 30 mph repeater signs on a road like this. So I'm not entirely sure what you mean by poorly signposted.

I can't see the basis of a defence from the information given. Best return the form within 28 days, and a course is the most likely outcome (unless you've already taken one within the last three years).
