Hi all

I received a PCN Contravention Code 01. I've made an informal appeal as I don't think I parked incorrectly. There were other cars parked in the area I was and if you look in google maps there is a Van parked in the same place. There are no yellow line to show you cannot park and no clear signage to explain I was parked incorrectly.

Google Maps link of location where my car was parked:

What are my chances of getting this cancelled. Would you be able to help me please?

Many thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Well it's a restricted parking zone - doesn't need yellow lines and you can see that previous yellow lines were blanked but showing through.

OP, do you know what constitutes a Restricted Parking Zone?

In essence, a zone in which waiting restrictions apply but where the council have dispensed with yellow lines, as they are permitted to do, and simply placed zonal signs at every vehicle entrance, you can see one in the photo.

Normal rules apply as per yellow lines i.e. loading and alighting are permitted. But you weren't engaged in these for the 7 minutes of CEO observation, were you.
