Hi All
Looking for a bit of help on this Alleged PCN 1/2/18 Initial NTK arrived 12/3/18…. replied 19/3/18 requested photo evidence Reply from SIP arrived 6/4/18 stating there is photo evidence, but not provided & offer of £60 instead of original £100 …..replied 9/4/18 requesting photo evidence again This letter must have crossed with a Payment Overdue notice dated 10/4/18 payment now increased to £115. Further reply to SIP again requesting photos Next SIP letter requesting a cheque for £10.00 (admin charge) to provide the evidence they say they have. Can anyone advise best next step ? Stop asking for evidence
You're telling SIP that you owe the payment if they produce it If you insist on such a foolish course of action, at least wait until 25th May when the General Data Protection Regulation will require them to provide everything for free |

OR ask them for all documents they intend to rely upon, should they progress this to a claim, now as they are obligated to provide them in order to narrow the issues under dispute prior to launching any claim. This is not a SAR for which a feee is payable.

Which is a much better way of phrasing the question than asking for evidence

Thanks for the info Guys
FYI my letter to SIP on 19/3/18 does not say we owe anything, but says we will not (as a LTD company) proceed any further until they provide evidence for the speculative invoice Cheers |

Still bad phraseology.....
Did they meet the requirements of PoFA? -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

The PCN was for "invalid ticket displayed" and another letterr says "No permit displayed". Either there was a ticket or there wasn't.
Has the driver provided the ticket on the windscreen? What does that say the alleged breach was? This post has been edited by ostell: Mon, 23 Apr 2018 - 16:40 |

Thanks Guys
The driver says he has no knowledge of the incident. I have attached another letter which states that the charge for vans differs on this car park This makes me think they have some sort of photo, but it may show a car ticket on the van, but not be clear enough. Your help is appreciated Cheers

Given them some specific documents you wold like to see
The driver saying they know nothing doesnt help. They DO KNOW ONE THING - whether there was a notice on the windscreren or not. |
