Is it just me or do you have the most bizarre targeted ads?

Everywhere else I get DIY and tech stuff. On Pepipoo...

I should add as well I've already bought Mrs NML a more than ample rack. She can fit all the plates and the big pans too.

Thanks - being pleased about cutting off the only source of funding we have, despite us making the advertising as unobtrusive as possible, is really thoughtful.

I'll hang my head in shame Fredd.
Twas an unlooked for result, Pep was never a particular issue unlike others who were very ad happy.
I'll adjust my settings to unblock Pepipoo now you have raised the issue.

Of interest, does the revenue stream depend on ad loading, clickthrough or what ?

Speaking of Pepipoo advertising, were there going to be flyers made up? Whenever I see a PCN attached to a car I think of leaving a note about this site, on the off chance they would have a case...

The point I was making is that relevant advertising is fine and I actively try to click through to sites like Amazon from sites I use - after the money in their pocket.

However, seeing as I don't need bigger boobs, to make a medical negligence claim, get an overseas bride or compare electric and gas prices on "Review hubb" my chances here are limited.

Clearly they are hacking your camera and don’t appreciate the lack of grooming of your beard!

ISTR some time ago a rather irate poster complained that PePiPoo was showing him very inappropriate adverts (not sure if it was ladyboys, but probably funnier if we assume it was) only to have our illustrious admin explain that the adverts were not controlled by the site (other than a blacklist to which offensive ads could be added manually) but served by google using the poster's own browsing history.

Some people think that I make them feel stupid. To be fair, they deserve most of the credit.

I haven't done anything to block ads that I know of, but I don't see any. Maybe it's my browser's automatic setting?

Which browser? I don't know of any that block ads by default.

There are times when I feel we ought to have a like button.
Consider this one of them, PMSL. biggrin.gif

Now to try to work out why my Google history should infer that I want ads of nubile young Russian ladies with silicon enhancements. huh.gif

Never seen any adverts on this site. Must be Adblock stopping them. Think I'll disable it for this site and see if I get any ladyboy/breast enhancement ads!
