Hi,

I've just received a PCN from parkingeye and was wondering if there was any way out of it.

They have pictures of my reg plate on my car entering and exiting the car park (behind a pub) and I was in there for 14 hours, I had parked there to go for a drink and moved away from the pub. In the pictures only my reg plate and headlights can be seen.
I had too much to drink and obviously left my car and collected in the morning.
When I parked there I did not pay much attention to signage bearing in mind it was a dark and the car park was more or less empty.

The only other thing is I picked my car up in the morning when it was daylight but the image showing me leaving is very similar to the first and looks like it was dark - not sure if this is just the type of camera though.

I suppose I know I was in the wrong but £60 to leave my car in an empty car park seems abut drastic and I obviously do not want to pay this, especially a week before Christmas! If there's not a chance of getting out of it then I need to know as only have til Wednesday to pay before it goes up

thanks

Remove ALL references to who was driving - refer to the keeper to stop your identity being infered - this may be important later on. Refer only to the driver etc. (eg. the driver was...)

Was the signage lit at all?

Thanks, but for what reasons do I explain the fine should be cancelled?
I will have to go check as not 100% - really didn't pay attention and thought nothing of it not realising it was ANPR controlled.

See if the landlord will cancel. You must have been a reasonable customer that night.
