Hi,

just recieved a PARKING CHARGE NOTICE (PCN) from Civil Enforcement Ltd. My car was parked in the Oak Mall Shopping Cenre, 1A Hamilton Gate, Greenock, PA15 1KW (Scotland) for 56 mins. Notice says Payment not made in accordance with terms displayed on signage. They wish me to pay £60 in 14 days or £100 within 28 days. Should I ignore or pay as I am aware law in Scotland is different from south of the border.

Thanks

Ignore all day and every day, collect all the paperwork and if they ever try and say the keeper and not the driver is liable report them to trading standards.

DO NOT under any circumstances, divulge, or even hint at, the driver's identity, even on here.

Being in Scotland, they can only go after the driver. They have written to the RK. They are in the dark. Keep it that way.

Hi there, I'm in a similar situation. I've received a parking fine for not paying to park although I use a disabled badge. I've received a letter from the parking companies "solicitors" telling me to contact the debt recovery team and pay up or they'll go further - court. This fine was issued in Scotland.

How do I go about this? Continue to ignore? I can attach the contents of the letter in here to help make things clearer.

Cheers!
