Hi all,
Yesterday I was travelling from Barmouth and as I was going through a town with 40mph limits I noticed I had crept up to 45 or so. I immediatley slowed down but noticed a pole that was similar to a lower case r in shape. It had two cameras on it. One facing each way. The pole was black or grey in colour. I can't remember the exact location however to show a gsv. But it was def in a town/village. Looking online I noticed Gwynedd has no fixed cameras only mobile ones. I initially did think of average cameras but again these would surely be fixed cameras. Could these be traffic cameras? Also what side camera generally watches the left hand lane on this set up as I know I had slowed down before I went under them but not before. Many thanks |

Many thanks According to PGPSW speed camera map there are no fixed speed cameras along that route. They are probably Trafficmaster cameras. |

It's worth adding that if your speedo said 45, you were probably only doing 42 / 43, and you must be doing at least 46 before the police will take any action.
