Dear Forum members,
I received a parking ticket when delivering a wardrobe to my friend in Wapping. PCN £100 has been issued on 6/8/2018. I did not park as stated, only delivered in a private property. Ive been doing this 2x but received only one ticket. My reg number was most probably recorded by CCTV footage, ticket on windscreen wasnt served. Question is: shall I dispute directly with Parking Awareness or contact my friend who I delivered to and ask him to act (in this case he can only contact the concierge services of the building to act)? Kind regards, Tom |

If its residential theres very little chance there was CCTV / ANPR. Most likely somenoe with a handheld camera. If there are pictures itll be REALLY obvious - ANPR will be from front / behind and above.
What precisely does it allege? Parking without permit? what? |

I presume that your friend lives in a flat and that you were parked on the estate.
If your friend is the leasehold owner of the flat, refer to his/her lease to see what parking rights exist. In addition, read Jopson v Homeguard in the Case Law section of the Parking Prankster's website. |

Many thanks. It is a fancy building with CCTV everywhere. I contacted my friend to speak with the concierge to push this lame Parking Awareness company.
We have 2 options: concierge might decline or accept my friends explanation. I guess id also need a confirmation from thsi private parking company that the PCN is cancelled? |

So edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. us e "the driver.....2 etc.
This might help, especially the appeal case about loading and unloading. |

So are there pictures?
Yes or no CCTV isn't ANPR. Different systems. |
