Hi,

I'm posting on behalf of a friend.

He received a PCN on the 01/11/2021.

He has ignored it and got a final reminder.

It was at Chamberlain buildings, Frederic Street, Birmingham B1 3HN

the 'contravention' was not parked in the markings of a space and the times were 21.05.32 and left at 21/10/37.

The letter has a picture of his car entering and leaving.

He never got out of his car and was waiting to pick somebody up.

Should he just ignore or reply?

Thanks

Not content with setting a new record by posting the same NIP Wizard generated thread post 13 times, you have exceeded yourself not only by posting a thread regarding a private parking ticket in the speeding forum, but also broken the unwritten "send three and fourpence, we're going to a dance" rule.

I have asked our benevolent mod to move it to the correct forum.

Well thank you Andy,

I do have all the paperwork so I can answer any questions.

Not getting out of the car is no excuse.

The advice has been to not ignore since 2012

How can we help if there is no image of the first notice?

Yes, more info needed if you're asking for help.

Photos of signage and as asked copy of PPN, leave dates but redact personal information.

It is NOT enforceable as per PPC. Just ignore and avoid any further contact with them.

This is nonsense and has been since 2012 - if it were true, this forum would not be needed.

Agreed, ignore that wrong "advice" from a low count poster.

If you have any thoughts this may be true, Google 'Parking Eye v Beavis' a case that went to the Supreme Court where they decided that DJF is an idiot and they most certainly are enforceable.

Unless or until DJF is appointed to the Supreme Court and gets it reversed then the issues settled in Beavis will remain as settled. that doesn't mean that every case is settled in the claimants favour, by no means, but the core principle is that they are most certainly enforceable.

The Supreme Court only ruled this in 2015, so maybe DJF struggles to keep up to date./s
