Hi All
I have today picked up some letters from previous address use to reside at where vehicle in question was registered to. There are some final recovery letters for unpaid parking charges from November 2017, I was not the driver of the vehicle at that time although registered keeper. Furthermore I recall the vehicle was parked overnight outside a car garage whilst undergoing works where the ticket has been given. Is it worth making contact with DCBL to provide them with these details or would it be worthless to do so now? The letters are dated January 2021 |

So post up a redacted copy of the PCN that was received, but leave dates.
So if you have not received a court claim yet then give them the name and address of the garage. They will claim it is too late but you can name the driver anytime upto the start of a claim. To cover yourself send the information to the parking company as well. Attached is what I have received initially prior to final notice of debt recovery. https://ibb.co/dfRvxxQ That isn't the Parking Charge Notice which would have been sent by VCS Ltd, do you have that? If not you need to send VCS a Subject Access Request from VCS for a copy of that (and all the other data they have) at the same time as including the change of 'address for service' to your new address. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

No doubt they have added the usual £60 for debt recovery which would be challenged.

That "PCN" is a reminder and not the original. Was there an earlier one? What was the date of the alleged breach? Found it: 4/11/2017
So if there was no windscreen ticket the they are late issuing the NTK. Difficult to tell There is no indication on their paperwork that a NTK was issued on 10/11/2017, thecdate the response was received from the DVLA What was the entry for on the 26/11 ? They state the lability period incorrectly.
It starts 28 days the day after the notice is given. They e stated 28 days from issue date. Cannot hold a keeper liable |

If the mechanic had the vehicle for several days you were not the actual keeper, arguably. Pofa holds the KEEPER liable
Why not name the garage and let them deal with it? You have nothing to do with this |

You must do so very soon as when they issue a claim then naming the driver to transfer liability is no longer possible

Ostell - true but not relevant here
They're naming the garage as the KEEPERS of the vehicle. There is no limitation on this, and it is an absolute defence under pofa |

Hi all,
I have tried to make contact via the online mpc form but it doesn't let me take further action What would be the best form of contact address to use to go back to them on as I take it better to have it in writing rather than ring them up? Thanks |
