Please refresh my poor memory.

as far as I know it is the BB that affords the exemption not the tax class any person entitled to a disabled tax class would be entitled to a BB

It is the BB being displayed (legitimately) that protects against removal.
Though the vehicle can be relocated to a nearby more suitable spot. Disabled tax class is not a factor with removal |

I am 99% certain removal limitations mirror the Immobilisation limitations.....
Basic comes from TMA 2004, S79 Regs are the General Regs 2007 for immobilising. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2007/34...ulation/13/made Can't remember ATM where the removal regs are. |

There is this from the secretary of state's statutory guidance
QUOTE 8.28 Vehicles displaying a valid Blue Badge must not be immobilised and, as a general rule, should not be removed. In exceptional circumstances (for example, where a vehicle displaying a Blue Badge is causing a safety hazard), the vehicle should be moved to a safe spot nearby, where possible within sight of its original location. The authorities should not charge a removal fee for the relocation of vehicles displaying a Blue Badge. They should notify the police or in London the towed vehicle tracing service in case the owner reports the vehicle stolen |
