Just stumbled upon -

"Multiple PCNs
If the restriction is continuous ie double yellow line, footway parking etc and the contravening
vehicle remains parked without moving a PCN can be issued for each day the vehicle remains in
contravention. For example a vehicle is parked on a footway for three consecutive days without
moving can be issued with three PCNs, one for each day. Similarly if a vehicle is parked out of bay a
PCN can be issued each day restrictions are in force. "

Yeah, good luck with that.

Complaint raised, politely asking that they change the policy.

I've now had confirmation the paragraph in question is going to be removed from their published policy.
