Another "speed enforcement is lacking, let's lower the speed limit" story (with a royal twist). --Churchmouse |

Sort of connected - BBC News. (One of the passengers in the crash has been banned herself)
Interestingly seems to have pleaded guilty to 2 counts of speeding and 2 failing to furnish. May have been a 'plea bargain' situation but copped the lot! -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

According to the account in Metro, she was dual-charged for two offences - one for 38 mph in a 30 and the other for 39
Instead of a plea bargain she pleaded Guilty to everything Takes a special kind of stupidity to turn 3 points and a course into a six months ban What I don't understand is why she was only fined £450 - the typical amount for a single S172 offence This post has been edited by Redivi: Thu, 30 May 2019 - 07:29 |
