Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is healthy and well. I'm looking for advice to stop bailiff from returning and incurring charges from them.

I have bailiff 1st time visited when I wasn't at home on Thursday 24 May 18 and he drop the notice of enforcement notice with:

- bailiff ref no.
- PCN no.
- £408 fine ( no break down of the fine )

I called on Friday to Swindon Council and found out that I was driving in bus lane in 27 Dec 2017. Swindon Council told me the case has forwarded to TEC, so I call TEC and they asked me to fill the PE3 & PE2 forms to send it back to TEC.

I moved home just before that date and have the address changed in 15 Jan 18 and V5C log dated 01 Feb 18.

I have filled in, sworn and emailed the PE3 and PE3 forms to TEC on Tuesday evening 29 May 18.

I'm OK to pay my fine or late payment to the council/tec, but not £400 with bailiff visiting. It's been almost 2 days since I sent the PE3 & PE2 form to TEC.

Could you please advice what I can do to stop the bailiff to return as they put on extra charges each time they visit or dropping off a letter.

believe some of the drivers have this unfortunate experience. What do you do in the end? Do you end up paying reduce fine or paying what the bailiffs asked for?

How long do I have to wait for TEC to reply before I call?

Many many thanks in advance :-)

Any answer from TEC?

If you haven't spoken to them yet, here's what you need to ask >

> Has your OOT been decided

> If so, when

> If 'refused', ask if the Council objected.

Hello Neil B & PeterUK and members,

I managed to call TEC just now and they have accepted the OOT on the 15th July 2018, 3 days ago. And they divert me to call Swindon Council. The Swindon Council Officer told me she has asked the Bailiff on hold since June 2018 and surprised that the bailiff still come to my property yesterday.

She is going to call the Bailiff to make sure they are not coming again and she confirmed that Swindon Council has accepted my application and will issue new PCN soon, which is only £30 charge :-)

Thank you guys and I will keep you update until very end.

Phew!
I was worried for a minute.

That's very good news.

Let us see the new PCN when it comes.
