As of 30th November 2022 it is no longer required to surrender your driving licence unless being disqualified when paying Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty
since the Police Crime Sentencing and Courts Act 2022.

Here is the press release from Scottish Courts Service - howver I cannot find anything for English and Welsh one, I guess it is similar.

Just be aware of the new process.

Would you like to re-phrase that?

I am just passing the message from Scottish Court website as it is longer required to send off the driving licence to pay Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty.

Maybe I should add to "Accept" Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty

I was more concerned about how "unless being disqualified" relates to paying COFPs.
N.B. The Scottish Court website doesn't say that.

If they’re facing disqualification, they can’t accept a COFP.

As that also applies to 'Court Procedures' (in addition to FP 'procedures' - or did they mean proceedings) it seems that it's saying you can go to court and be endorsed without surrendering your licence but not if you will be disqualified.

That's obviously separate to the FP procedures that others are focusing on it seems.

Or am I missing something?

It applies to fixed penalties. You will still have to prove your ID.

Gerfc1 seems to be trying hard to defend what was written on the website. Nobody has criticised anything written on the website. Nobody has any reason to criticise anything written on the website.

That said, it is far easier to defend what is written on the website than what he posted.
