hello, im not sure if i am posting this in the right place, apologies if i am. I have been issued a fine for Dart Charge twice, Northbound on the A282 Trunk Road and Southbound also on the same day. I totally forgot about the payment and now the fine is £35 each way totalling £70. Frustrating knowing that i could've paid £2.50 had i remembered. Can someone advise please. Thnkyou

Please be more forthcoming - have you received the actual PCNs ? 2nd question - is this your first "offence" of not paying in time. DART are very forgiving on first time offenders, but not on serial offenders.
If you regularly use the DART crossings, might be best to set up an auto-pay account. This post has been edited by Incandescent: Fri, 17 Aug 2018 - 19:50 |

The first PCN will have a covering letter that says if you pay the £2.50 charge, they will camel the PCN. I would pay the £2.50 and then call them, explain that you'd forgotten about it and that as the second PCN was issued before you'd had the first warning letter, would they accept the £2.50 crossing fee and cancel the 2nd PCN as well.
