I received this PCN from TFL this morning. At the time, I seem to recall the traffic being heavy, but still moving slowly. Is there any way to appeal? I've attached links to all the documentation TFL have sent.

Their video is the sole evidence of the alleged contravention, so you need to ask TfL for it. They put the PCN on hold whilst they send it. The offence is "stopping in the box due to the presence of stationary vehicles" With heavy traffic, I suspect you're bang-to-rights but only the video can tell the full story. If you can remember anything more, tell us.

From the image it doesn't look like you ever had a chance of crossing the box safely.

Call TFL and ask for the video, they will send you a DVD in the post and put the penalty on hold while you wait.

I also say pay the discount If it's still available! OP, has this been extended within the covering letter which accompanied the video? If so, until when? |

Came across this video. Same location on New Cross Road; yellow box junction. Albeit very faded at the time, adjudicator allowed on non-compliance, although repainted, he argues it's still non-compliant. |

The regulations were changed in 2016 so the box is fine now. -------------------- If you would like assistance with a penalty charge notice, please post a thread on https://www.ftla.uk/index.php
