Nip received well in time. Is 38 in a 30 in the range of a speed awareness for this force?
Many thanks |

Yes*, assuming you've not done a course in the last 3 years?
*They apply the national criteria of up to +10%+9mph over the limit, so 42 in a 30. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

Currently it ranges from £85-100 depending on the constabulary, no idea on Leic's.

Depends on what YOUR insurance requires, is the only possible answer
If we answered "no", and it turns out it should have been notified, we're not the ones in (potential) trouble.... |

It was meant as a more generalised question. I know you have to answer each question to the best of your knowledge but i was looking for answers from different people on their particular ins. co.
I believe there is a possibility that I may have a vague locus defence but if im likely to get a speed awareness i may be looking a gift horse in the mouth. |

We can do better than that... Because there is no longer a positive obligation on the insured to disclose all relevant information, a SAC is disclosable ONLY if the insurer asks for such courses to be disclosed. Most insurers do not ask, but those in the Admiral Group generally do, and I believe the point at which they ask is renewal. --Churchmouse |
