Hello
I am at a wits end, on saturday night i was issued a court notice to attend court on the 6th of december, they are charging me with dangerous driving, the incident happened on the 1st of march 05 are they allowed to issue me with my court notice after so long as i have been told by several people that they only have 6months to issue it Steven |

A Car cut me up, i got allong side at next light an he was shouting abuse at me, he went toof lights so did i, my wheels were spinning, i moved infront of him and slowed, he passed me and near went sideways into a shop window, then drove into a slip lane and stopped, i slid into the back of him causing no damage |

Can you scan and post the summons you have received. Specifically, there should be a date on the actual summons when the information was laid before the court.
In England this date which needs to be within 6 months of the alleged offence, in this case no later than 1st September if my arithmetic is correct. See this thread Not sure if this is the same in NI... -------------------- There's too much complacency. Somebody ought to do something about it!

It was laid before the courts on the 11th of october and ive heard from a few places that they have 6months so i hope its true, unfortunatly the summons is about 30 pages
