Today my friend was driving along the A605, south bound driving towards Thrapston. There are two blue Truvelos on that route one that's at 40mph and other at 60mph. As he was driving past this speed camera ( https://www.google.com/maps/@52.4234457,-0....312!8i6656) I just realised it was 40mph, there wasn't any of those 3 lines painted out. But of course on this image it does show the lines as it was taken in 2009. But today he was driving and I didn't see it so I was wondering could the local police which happens to be Northampton shire still be able to prosecute drivers going over the limit? I've also heard that Northampton shire have shut down some of their cameras?
Thanks. |

I was just curious since they dont have the stripes maybe it's not in use? Also are their magenta flashes visible to motorists? |

All fixed cameras (except for HADECS3 installed on the M1) are turned off in Northamptonshire.
They still get turned around every so often, etc. They are replaced by a bunch of humourless people sitting in vans. |

I also asking cause he thinks that he's gone over the limit but believes he went 40 to 38ish. He seems paranoid like me with cameras ECT. |
