I was nicked doing 110 on southbound M1 in a company car by camera at side of motorway on the 23rd November but my notice never got to me until 15th January

Here is your answer. It's not your car so the first NIP would have gone to the lease company (or your company if they hold the V5).

It is unlikely you will have a '14 day defence' as only the first NIP has this requirement. Regardless, the request the name the driver is was live.

That excess will result in a court hearing that you will have to attend. A short ban (2-4 weeks) is quite likely - a fine of around 1 week's earnings, costs of £85 and surcharge of 10% of the fine. 6 points is also possible but an outside chance.
