Hi,
I parked on a street with restrictions, no parking after 8.30am. Returned to my car at what I thought was 8.30 and found a traffic warden sticking a ticket to my car. The ticket states observed between 8.31 and 8.31am Is there any grace period at all for this? I can't believe I've now got a £130 fine for one minutes parking! |

OP, my methods might be considered unorthodox, but they've got your attention which I hope we retain.
You included questions in your challenge. Why, they're simply a fishing expedition unless you assert that their timngs were incorrect by reference to some other timing device. The issue is de minimis. But you didn't post a draft. You posted: they sent the response to my old address even though I'd emailled them to notify them of my new address to which they responded What does this mean? On the face of it, you moved, but you've not said this is the case. Do you mean that you cared for her at her home, not yours? Old address, new address..?. You might well have a defence based on this, I just don't know. As the PCN was reg 9 the authority don't know you from Adam, they served the PCN on a car. You made a challenge, in this case in your capacity as driver. They still don't have any address other than any which you might include in your challenge. So how do two addresses come into play? Don't pay, that stimulus has had its desired effect..hopefully. What we need is information, I'm focusing on process. And who is the registered keeper pl? |

Hi thank you for your response, when I received the ticket I sent my appeal using my then current address, I then moved home, I emailled them to say i hadn't yet had a response but i had moved home and my new address was xyz, they replied and said the ticket was on hold awaiting an outcome and they would reply via post. I then emailled today and said I still hadn't heard to which they sent a copy of the refusal letter dated 21/10 and addressed to my original address.
I am the registered keeper |

The council can serve the NTO anytime after the 5th of Nov using the date they gave you to pay the discount, It is likely that they have and it will be to the address held by DVLA I assume not your currant address. so check at your ols address or with the council> if they have not sent in yet make sure they are aware and will use your new address

OP, you need to recognise their stupidity and your status.
Unless you have TOLD them you are the owner and that you've moved house and that the NTO should be addressed to ***** then they could simply send it to your old address if this has not yet been updated. This is not a fine point of detail, it is crucial. POST what you've sent, don't summarise in your own mind and post those thoughts, this is a recipe for disaster.
