Somehow managed to do 60 in a 50 zone on the A13.

Being first time offence like this and being under 13mph over the limit, i think i'm eligible for the course.

I know there's a lot of confusion due to the current situation, but has anyone heard of the course being offered lately? I've been served by the Essex Police.

I've got up to 28 days to respond to the driver information letter - do you think it's advisable to delay answering until just before these 28 days?
Would answering later than quicker have an effect on being offered the course?

Thanks.

Can't find anything clear on Essex - many other Forces are offering online course option.

I doubt classroom courses will commence shortly - so it's unlikely to help you in delaying. But you could reply later rather than sooner - just as long as you don't missed the deadline!

Do you think Essex Police would be able to offer an answer as to wether they offer the course or not if I give them a ring?

Just got off live chat with Essex Police and they confirmed they are still offering the Speed Awareness Course, albeit online not in person - even better if you ask me.

Now I hope I will be offered it.
