Hi all, I'm looking to clear a situation up. I pick my son up on a Tuesday night at his work. I drive to Glasgow park in West George St and send him a text to let him know I'm here. He locks up the office and I drive down to the bottom of the road to pick him up. I have no option but to cross the bus lane to get to the parking space and when I pulled out a car was blocking my exit so again I found myself in the bus lane with no option but wait my turn to exit. The car blocking my exit is in the photograph. I've pointed this out to the bus lane people but they have rejected it. I've alsp emailed them to advise that I was the driver of the car and not my wife who they are now hounding as this is her old car which is still in her name. They're refusing to speak to me and she's terrified of losing her job over this as she's a nurse. I want to appeal this but I don't want her hounded at the same time, please help

To be be clear - we have not seen the paperwork prior to the charge certificate. If you appealed the PCN, they rejected in writing and you then failed to appeal the decision to the Parking and Bus Lane Tribunal for Scotland then you must pay the charge certificate.

Hello there, I contacted them via their email page explaining that I was the driver and not my wife. They emailed back saying that they would look at the evidence. They sent a letter back stating they had reviewed the evidence I had submitted and stand by their decision. I hadn't submitted any evidence at that point. I emailed them again and they replied via letter stating that they were not prepared to talk to me as the car was in my wife's name. I've paid their fine now but it's galling given the circumstances though.
Can I just say thank you and everyone else for all your help and advice on this matter. I would have taken this to court had I been given the chance but the next stage was the bully boys, again not a problem but I'm not there during the day my wife is |

I will do. I discovered you guys literally the day I posted and by that time it was too late Do We cannot promise to beat every PCN. But will always look, will always see if anything possible. And will hopefully stop you getting any deeper in the mire even if we cannot beat the PCN |
