Driver with clean license for 15 years.
Received a NIP from a laser gun. Completed the Section 172 identifying myself as driver. Rejected FPN. My GPS evidence contradicts the 54mph readout. Mitigating circumstances: - Bright Red car emerged from left immediately prior to crossing complicated junction. - Repeater signage does not meet best practice. All i'd like is the chance for driver retraining. What do folks suggest as next course of action? |

Because of the psychology of it, just ask Stefan Kiszko how well it worked..... Or maybe I’m much more experienced in running defences in criminal cases and see no issue with it? I don’t tend to view magistrates as [complete] simpletons unable to comprehend the proposition that “this prosecution must fail for two reasons; if either or both is true then you must acquit”. Running mutually exclusive defences is dangerous. This post has been edited by southpaw82: Fri, 14 Aug 2020 - 22:55 -------------------- Moderator
