Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can help!

There is a car park in town, half of it is pay and display and the other half is season holders only. There are signs and on the ground and on the ticket machine. My gran parked here and as she is elderly clearly didn't understand!

She bought a standard pay and display ticket and received a PCN on her car.

Is there any point in me appealing it, if so would anyone be able to help?

Thanks so much!

I have actually lost the parking ticket and emailed them asking for the PCN number so I could look online. Should I post the images here..

Post everything you can, and see if they can give you a copy of the PCN.

The division doesn't look all that clear to me so well worth making a challenge on the basis that gran did not find it clear, paid for parking in good faith and would the council please exercise discretion on this occasion.

Post the PCN as there may be mistakes in it. Also see if there are council pics - where about did she park and which entrance did she enter.

You can use a site such as Imgur or Flickr to host pics.

Or email them to me - marcb@csi.com - and I'll put them up.

Soem of the pics. Nearly all out of focus - CEO no David Bailey. You must post the PCN as that has key details.

If the off street order indicates that season tickets also apply on Sundays --how does that square with a sign which indicates P&D on a weekend?

https://tro.trafficpenaltytribunal.gov.uk/T...hester/ZA29.pdf

It is described in the Schedule as "Season Ticket Only Parking Spaces" ergo the sign is wrong as are the tarmac markings.

Based on the signage:
"Season Ticket" Holders Monday to Friday (As road markings)

- or -

"Season Ticket" Holders Monday to Sunday, but not at weekends or bank holidays (As sign on post)

- or -

"Permit Holders" Monday to Sunday, but not at weekends or bank holidays (As bit of paper on ticket machine)
The words "Dogs" and "breakfast" come to mind (both small words, will fit in my mind together). Almost confusing by design.

Edit your last post so it gets rid of all the images I posted.

There is no PCN - you can email me again if you like.

EDIT: Cannot upload images it seems.

Try this:
Do not attach docs/photos, but use this method:
Some are having problems with Tinypic at he moment.. try Flickr, where the BBcodes are concealed behind the curly arrow (click on it) for sharing.

Photo or scan. see http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=36858&st=0
for how to do it. I use Tinypic for stage 2 with no problems. Thera are other sites, such as Flickr, which enable you to paste the BBCodes into your post here.
STAGE 1 takes care of resizing. If you use Tinypic for Stage 2, on the left each image in Tinypic is a list of links. Highlight and copy the entire link 'for forums' from the list for each image - beginning with IMG and ending /IMG (include all the square brackets [ ] ), and paste each link into your post. Each copied and pasted link will embed a thumbnail link in your post.

Using the attachment method is not advised as it means quickly running out of attachment space.

Redact/obscure name, address, PCN number and reg.mark.
LEAVE IN all dates/times; precise location, Contravention code and description.
