Hi All,

received a pcn in LBH&F as described above. One sign at the entry having been back to check but slightly turned away from entrance (not helpful) no other signs in the road just marked bays......worth appealing?

Tried uploading ticket but says file too big?

Many thanks

I parked there because I was escorting an elderly lady to her house and wanted to make sure she was ok before leaving - as for the car parked next to me.....it was her sons and he was at work. i suggest before passing absolute judgement you enquire as to the circumstances! but thank you for your help

Now you tell us but we should have asked.

I would send an additional note as assisted alighting/boarding is an exemption. Surely you know this?

Perhaps for an 01 but lets see what comes back it can be taken up at NTO OP if you have a job sheet keep a copy or go back and see if you can get a witness statement from the person or any other evidence of what you say. It is for you to prove an exemption

Yes but issue is OP is not the RK.

An assisted drop off by a licensed cab should be a slam dunk

I'm very surprised that this wasn't mentioned earlier.

But it's not actually a defence against the alleged contravention, so the authority's refusal should be anticipated.

Anyway, back to the issue of who is the registered keeper of the vehicle, we still don't know.

OP, if it's not you, then who is and what is their attitude towards NTOs i.e. to pay and recharge the hirer, possibly including admin. charges, or formally transfer liability through the proper procedures? Or make a hash and send the NTO to you which would end up with a charge of £195 because proper procedures weren't followed - it happens.

buckleyboo you need to find out who has the V5C, is it the company you hire it from? If they have it on finance, the NTO might go to a finance company.
