My neighbour knows i look at this site and threw this at me today.
I said i didn't know all the answers but would try and get an idea ( he is a panicky type who worries about things like this!) He visited a hospital today to pick his wife up after an appointment . There are no pick/drop off points ( which surprised me) so he parked in the car park under a sign telling him the all day price is 4.00. He said he was no more than 7 mins from parking to leaving with the good lady He doesnt know if it is camera operated or patrolled. ( no ticket on windscreen) However he did say there was a machine inside the foyer to pay and input reg no. I told him that if he should get a letter that writing and telling them that 'the driver' read the notice and did not want to enter the contract and left, within 10 minute of arrival. dont say who as driving It looks like CP do POFA now so what would be his best course of action, should he gets the letter ( shall keep the address misspell up my sleeve for the time being) Thanks |

The 'address misspell' is only for windscreen tickets. As he didn't get one, it won't be necessary.
Until he gets a NtK and we know what it says, it's difficult to say what his approach should be at this stage. However, you are on the right lines viz a viz 10 minutes grace period. Could you give us a clue on which hospital? It may be useful to have a look at GSV and website to see if anything leaps out in the meantime. Come back when he gets something concrete, which, provided the V5 is correct and it's not a hire vehicle, should be by 18th December to be able to hold the RK liable under PoFA. -------------------- Cabbyman 11 PPCs 0

GSV doesn't show any signs in the car park because the pics don't go far enough.
