Hello. I received a PCN for a no entry contravention a few weeks back. I viewed the CCTV and now I do remember initially turning quickly into a road to try to stop safely to look at the map on my phone, but as I've turned into the road I've realised it's no entry and as the CCTV clip ends it shows me beginning to safely make a turn in the road before I eventually amended my error and came back down the road the correct way and exited. I understand that I have broken a rule here, but I did amend my error immediately. I'm a good driver who was in an unfamiliar area and just wanted to safely turn off rather than look at my phone whilst driving and cause an accident. I constantly see drivers speeding and going through red lights, so I feel really hard done by here. Just wondered if there is anything I can do before I pay or is it a lost cause?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Post the PCN and the video. I don't like the sound of a 'a few weeks back' as you may not have time.

If you want me to post video you'll have to PM me the VRM and PCN number.

Put pics on https://imgbb.com or such like.

Put videos on Youtube, Imgur or such like.
