No.

But then there aren't many kilometres of 20mph limits compared to other limits, still less where a van could be sited as most 20mph limits are on residential roads or retail areas. So it's a bit like saying "are there many camera vans on concrete roads". There is nothing to stop them, other than a shortage of suitable locations.

If your question is about a specific area, if you search for it on here you will probably see if there are previous tickets.

If you mean "can I ignore 20mph limits", the thresholds for speed awareness courses, FPNs and court action are correspondingly lower (35mph+ goes to court versus 50mph+ in 30mph limits). So it's a good idea to stick to the limits or at least not exceed the limit by more than 75%.

If you mean "it's impossible to stick to 20mph so they shouldn't hand out tickets", there are plenty of cars fitted with speed limiters if you struggle to achieve a task you were assessed on in your driving test - not exceeding the speed limit.

Reason I am asking I was driving on this 20mph road https://goo.gl/maps/SQjPd6kKhfoeg5xY9 doing 30mph. They were cars parked on both sides on curbs and ‘I am thinking I seen a camera van’ …

Don't worry about that, if they saw you exceed the limit they'll send you a letter in the post.

There is a van often parks on the 20mph road next to my house. It is a downhill stretch and residential.

It can be a little awkward to maintain 20, even with a limiter, since the gradient is such that brakes are required.

My limiter (bmw) won't brake the car or be set less than 20.

They don’t need to operate often. Once is enough to catch you.

IIRC when 20mph zones were introduced there was fuss that speed cameras were not approved for that sort of speed.
Doubt it is the case now.

Realistically, if there is a speed limit, there is likely to be a camera of some description.
May only be once a month but as said, that once is enough.

What will be, will be.
See what the post brings, if nothing in the 14 day limit you got away with it.

Enforced by average speed cameras, not a van.
