In other news today our investigative journalists have found the sky is blue!

DM Online is successful precisely because they churn out repeatable no research articles about subjects that they know will be clickbait.
Essentially they have got you doing exactly what they want. |

I used to read the DM online to see how items of truth could be distorted into bogus facts taken up by the public. Similar to online blogs and forums really.
I don’t bother with the DM now as videos keep popping up blocking what you are trying to read. If I do go to the DM it is from a Google Alert or similar. The DM and other more respectable media take information and even interview material and change it into the bogus message to attract readers who still imagine that the media directly and honestly reports what it sees. |

Isn’t the well-known test “if the DM asks a question in a headline the answer is inevitably ‘no’”? QUOTE I don’t bother with the DM now as videos keep popping up blocking what you are trying to read. If I do go to the DM it is from a Google Alert or similar. The ‘reader view’ on Safari is quite good for cutting out the adverts and pop ups. -------------------- Moderator
