They would normally stop you there and then, but they could still send a NIP to the registered keeper should they want to progress matters.

Only a 14 day wait can confirm.

--------------------
RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution
PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information

Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it.

Sounds like they were 'making their presence known'.

As JLC has posted above its possible for them to still issue a 172/NIP but unlikely in these circs.

You run quite a risk doing over 100, take a browse of the forum and see the bother people have.

I suggest you ask yourself now how important your license is to you and how you would be affected if you lost it.

Speeding tickets, like lottery tickets, are a voluntary tax. You don't have to get them.
