Evening so on the 17/9/18 I received a phone call from school to say my child was unwell, so me and wife went to pick her up I at 14:39 school doesn't finish untill 15:15. I stopped on a keep clear yellow writing while my wife ran in school to get her. The evidence of my stopping shows my break lights on and i was still in the car, I never left the car and there no longer than 30 seconds do I have an appeal. Please help. Sorry first time posting if anymore info is required please ask

We need the PCN and location (google street view).
Use a site such as https://imgbb.com for pics. If in the no stopping time you are probably stuffed as it means what it says - no stopping. |

GSV is from 2015 but shows it's a 8 am to 5pm restriction. I can see two signs on a rather long stretch of zigzags.
Councils in England are allowed to enforce these by CCTV but not most other parking contraventions. https://www.google.com/maps/@53.550243,-2.1...3312!8i6656 This post has been edited by stamfordman: Fri, 21 Sep 2018 - 20:01 |

See if the video is on council site - that's the key in these cases.

I received a phone call from school to say my child was unwell Presumably not a situation you believed to be life or death? Evidence of hospital visit following collection, or home and a teaspoon of Calpol? This post has been edited by peterguk: Sat, 22 Sep 2018 - 20:26 -------------------- |

can't see that urgency would swing it unless there was sudden major concern just as you got there.
School would have called an ambulance. |

See if the video is on council site - that's the key in these cases. Do I just appeal and ask for the video evidence? I bet on the video you can see me indicate away from the curb have you checked for the video on council site? |
