Hi peeps, 1st post here and im after some help! My brother went to our local B&Q car park which is monitored my parking attendants (NCP iirc), and parked his scooter on the pavement outside Argos (in the same carpark, up against the wall), quickly rushed in to buy something, and came out and he had a PCN stuck to his bike. Now the silly idiot (brother) buried his head in the sand and it wasnt until 2 weeks after and another letter telling him he now had to pay £90, was it until i found out. So i looked at his PCN and there was an obvious error. The bike is made by Peugeot and on the PCN it said Honda. So i wrote to them appealing the PCN and they said that as he was the registered owner of the vehicle, and that he had parked in an unauthorised area he had to pay the fine? Ive got the letters and PCN still but i cant see how they can make him pay the fine if the PCN says Honda on it even if they prove he is the registered owner? Any help much apreciated Lewis. |
