Realising your mistake and turning back?

Would be great if somebody could offer me some advice on this!

I accidentally drove through a no entry sign but then immediately turned the car around and went back out again, which was all caught on their camera.

Would the fact that I tried to correct my mistake be a good enough reason to be let off?

Provided you passed through the no entry signs and there was a valid TRO enforcing it then the offence is complete.

Tell us more and if possible post up a Google street view and we may see something which may help.

Where was the no entry sign? Was it police/council owned or just private?
