Statute does not require it. I would leave it blank.

The HA think they are on a winner with a FREE service. They need to be told the pitfalls of hiring these people.

My personal opinion is neither here or there.

I am just calling you out on your scaremongering.

QUOTE (numb15 @ Wed, 17 Apr 2019 - 12:33) *
If you ignore it you might run in to a couple of things you should be aware of:

- you might be 'black-listed' by Hertz not just in Italy, but anywhere else (particularly in Europe) and they could refuse to rent to you until you pay up

- Hertz will probably try to charge your card on file if you don't pay.

- If Hertz have tried to take payment from your card but it got declined perhaps because you cancelled it or don't have sufficient funds, they will be 110% certain to pass this debt on to a UK based debt collection agency. Cross-border purchase of debts by debt collection agencies is common, happened to me with a fine I had in Switzerland. If you think you are comfortable with dodging possible bailiffs in the future you can take that risk. I don't know if/how this will impact your credit rating, but it possibly won't.

None of the above will happen.

Hertz have discharged their liability for the notice. They don't care what happens once they hand over your details to the police. If you fail to pay the demand it won't revert to Hertz. There is nothing to worry about in that regard.

Original UKPC charge would have been 100 quid.

I would be more concerned about a possible Section 59 marker.

If not observed by police and this was on private land, it would be very unlikely that any action would be taken.

Not being a member of an ATA is no bar to getting RK info from what I can see.

Keep it simple.

The MSE appeal is overboard in these simple situations.

You need to make the appeal a PDF and submit it under other. Do not use the designed to fail boxes that POPLA provide.

There is no harm stating that the signage is not adequate. They have to prove otherwise.

At this stage there is no harm throwing the kitchen sink in as you can't raise points not pleaded when they produce their evidence pack.

By not using their form you are gumming up the works as the form can't be fed into a OCR machine and be automatically processed.

Avon and Somerset have in the past insisted that any S172 reply is made on their form and nothing else.

The case should automatically get stayed as they have failed to file the allocation questionnaire.

It has been tried with Parking Eye before and they fought tooth and nail not to produce witnesses.

And have you fixed the situation with the V5?

This is how people get done for Failure to Furnish making the assumption that changing their licence changes everything.

You had no business recovering what was not your bike.

If I was the insurance company I would not be so patient. I am surprised the old bill have not been round for a chat.

I wouldn't take that from them. I would off to the SRA with a complaint.

Send a few more letters. You need to develop a thick skin to deal with them.

No.

You only respond to the court via your own DQ.

Why are you on the Gladstones website?

Any reply to them needs to be in writing sent by snail mail.
