Hi, I went through an average speed camera zone at about 60. I vaguely recall seeing 50 signs, hence my concern. Two days later on the same stretch there are no speed limit signs and the cameras have a sign saying they are not in use. This is making me question or even hoping if there was ever a 50 sign at all.

Is there anywhere I can obtain information of when the temporary speed limits can or are enforced? This might give me peace of mind, if not I'll just have to wait and see if I get a NIP.

For info it was M5 northbound between J18 and J17.

Thanks to all in advance.

Ask Highways England...... their road, their limit to set.

When was this? I run this route fairly regularly nowadays, they seem to be removing or reconfiguring some of the roadworks at the present moment

Ok, I think (although can't remember for sure) the 50 signs were there with a lane 1 of 4 closure on Monday morning/afternoon in both directions when I went though. Road was closed overnight Tuesday though so that is when it may have been reconfigured.

Highways England may be able to tell you more reliably however!
