That will be interesting!

It would appear they are starting with cases of failure to pay in a P&D car park, which will always sit easier with the court than some spurious contravening of terms in a free at point of service car park.

So I take it that it's the RK who the cases are being taken against and that might not be the driver ....Be interesting to see how that goes .

Free for 2 hours then charges. From memory those charges are not £60 or £100 or anything like the penalty charge. That's a hard sell.

http://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/current-busin...0000d74aa7#MISC 2 today in Dundee.

One in Airdrie on Tuesday too.

I've got a feeling the Airdrie one is to do with the retail park in Coatbridge... the PPC operation in there is pathetically petty.

The PPCs will probably tell the court that the RK is the driver unless he/she names someone.

The way round that would be for the judge to ask "were you the driver?" and "Who was driving?"

Surely that would only be possible if the accused was giving evidence ?

Which facts in any situation or problem are “essential” and what makes them “essential”? If the “essential” facts are said to depend on the principles involved, then the whole business, all too obviously, goes right around in a circle. In the light of one principle or set of principles, one bunch of facts will be the “essential” ones; in the light of another principle or set of principles, a different bunch of facts will be “essential.” In order to settle on the right facts you first have to pick your principles, although the whole point of finding the facts was to indicate which principles apply.

Note that I am not legally qualified and any and all statements made are "Reserved". Liability for application lies with the reader.

Just sat in on the Hamilton one, both parties requested dismissal.

Any way I can find out which side folded?
