No, not by our standards.
Shoppers were charged £60 after parking outside Starbucks but going next door to McDonald’s in the same Stansted park https://www.theguardian.com/money/2018/nov/...-southgate-park |

The usual terrible advice about ignoring them...
At least MET aren't litigious but it's much better to get POPLA to cancel them if they won't. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

QUOTE Neither McDonald’s or Starbucks responded to the Guardian’s request for comment. One has to wonder why not, after all the car park(s) enforcement policy will have a direct and negative affect on them |
