Just had notification from POPLA that "Ethical Parking Management have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge."

Original post:

Essentially the car was not actually parked in a car park operated by Ethical. It was in an adjacent field. There was no signage in the field and the signage in the adjacent car park was non-compliant. Additionally they did not fully comply with PoFA.

Other than an incompetent POPLA assessor, they had no prospect of success, so they chose to withdraw rather than have judgement against

Thanks to all on the forums for their input, and also those who are probably unaware that i lifted pieces from their posts for my appeal wink.gif

Fortunately for Ethical's business model, the ~36 other people ticketed at the same time did not know about PePiPoo and just paid up. Ka-ching!
