Caught on video in City of London.
Police are hunting a cyclist who headbutted a man to the ground after a near-miss on a pedestrian crossing. The cyclist ran a red light in Farringdon Street in the City of London at around 1.45pm on 22 August, narrowly avoiding hitting the pedestrian who was crossing the road. He then got off his bike, went back towards the businessman and headbutted him in the face, calmly cycling away as his victim lay sprawled on the pavement. https://youtu.be/r1a0yfqcYzo https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/se...trian-in-london This post has been edited by stamfordman: Tue, 10 Sep 2019 - 10:15 |

The problem is that the cost of making it work and then trying to enforce it would achieve more results elsewhere, like having more patrols to catch people using a phone while driving. If they were specifically targeting mobile phone use, they would invariably be trying to catch motorists stopped in traffic/at red traffic lights - the safety imperative of which still eludes me. Anyone using a handheld mobile, when hands-free is easily and cheaply available, and knowing the potential penalty, is clearly an idiot. Isn’t Getting idiots off the road a safety imperative. |

Was the cyclist on the phone? Now there you go, trying to drag the thread back to the original case. The Lycra Tendency aren't going to thank you for that... -------------------- Regards,

LOL.
😂 What I was trying to say that the thread seemed to change from the cyclists behaviour to the other mobile phone thread. |
