I like having a chuckle at the FMOTL fail videos on YouTube as much as anyone else, but if you are going to use such stupid statements, you should at least read up on what you believe in... not rely on Google Legal Advice at the roadside like this guy does 🤣 I really don't know how the cop can be so calm and composed when I'd be banging my head off the nearest hard object. (I'm sorry if this post does not abide by the forum rules, but I do not consent to anything except as prescribed by the Magna Carta 🙈) -------------------- ParkingEye Ltd

Seems his bosses were also impressed by his sang froid:
QUOTE Officer Matt Frits remand calm and compassionate during this stop and subsequently received the Police Meritorious Service Award for poise, patience, and professionalism.

Some people eh?
And what a waste of resources. We had a guy constantly parking on the single yellow outside a shop on a busy street near here during the hours you’re not supposed to. He argued with the police who were moving people on one day (after complaints) that they didn’t have the authority as he said that parking enforcement is done by the council. When the police advised him he was causing an obstruction so it could be points as well as a fine he soon moved off. |
