Dear Experts,

I have received letters from Debt recovery company (DRP) for paying a PCN for private parking. I have not responded to any initial PCN letters but now getting worried that it might lead to county court claim soon. I would be grateful if you can advise what to do in this situation.

Many Thanks

Who was the parking company?

Frankly, there's probably nothing you can do other than see if they do raise a claim.

--------------------
RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution
PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request

Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it.

They do issue claims. Whether they will here is impossible to say.

Thanks for the reply. On here, it says to appeal to the PPC using any of the applicable grounds and then appeal to the independent Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA) service. Do you think I should do this, in current situation, where it has already been passed to Debt Recovery company?

As said you ignore DRP. Post up the redacted PCN letter, leaving the date
