Basically, all other details are correct but vehicle colour was marked as blue.
Also this was issued as a windscreen PCN. Anyone on the forum think I have any success in appealing and winning? AND would also like to thank the forums for successfully getting me out on a previous matter where I had to attend court in Bath! THANK YOU!!! |

You can keep the £65 in your pocket til after xmas by challenging but unless you give us something to work with you will end up paying it or more later -------------------- All advice is given freely. States colour of van blue, but if you check online it will say silver. It has a blue logo on it but there is no way the overall colour of the van is blue. But as others have stated colour is not a get out of jail free card. lol. What u reckon guys.. cough up? |

At least you will postpone til after next pay day Hmmm... Is there any kind of template on here I could use or just be apologetic in my own words, and mention I'm not from the area. I am deeply sorry and offer my absolute apologies and I will make sure I will never commit this offence again, and park appropriately. To be frank, where I am these types of PCNs are £70 or £35 if paid within 14 days and I am certainly not near on Centre London wages. They most likely get these everyday and most less than 10% of these, they are willing to drop. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't drop any of them. When you think of it, it's a good source of revenue for them. lol This post has been edited by Boothzor: Wed, 19 Dec 2018 - 22:14 |

We don't do templates on here, templates are a terrible idea. We've won more than one case because the councils use template responses...

One of these bays?
https://www.google.com/maps/@51.5227089,-0....6384!8i8192 they don't say buses only - just a bus symbol - could be read as allowing buses as well as others to park, and the bay doesn't look oversized and isn't marked. |

That's pretty much where I was parked, on that side of the road outside the royal national hotel. It also has a pay by phone and location number on it. But the PCN says 'parked in a parking place or area not designated for that class of vehicle - buses only. This post has been edited by Boothzor: Wed, 19 Dec 2018 - 22:52 |

That sign to me looks like the restrictions on the sign only apply to buses... i know - but gives a small crumb of possible confusion for an out of towner. The bus symbol is the only thing there (and wouldn't be nice if it said 'coaches only' which is what they mean). This post has been edited by stamfordman: Wed, 19 Dec 2018 - 22:48 |

The sign is compliant with TSRGD 2016 schedule 5 part 1 item 6. All you do with a challenge in reality is but time and/or hope they co*k up any reply

Thank you all again for the AMAZINGLY FREE advice on here, much appreciated by the helpful members of the forums.
So, now I will appeal on the grounds of QUOTE That's my point, the restrictions were only applicable to buses, I wasn't driving a bus, so I reasonably assumed no restrictions applied to me... and also be apologetic and explain I am not from the city so I am easily confused by the signs and again express my apologies lol?
